Posters and flyers are making their way to doors, windows, and community boards around town thanks to many great partners including volunteers from Hoover High School, Spain Park High School, Helena High School, Montevallo University, and Birmingham Southern College. Here’s a sneak peek at the 2018 design featuring the artwork of Virginia’s Deborah Davis and her muse, the Giant Leopard Moth. We took inspiration from the open and closed circle patterns of this particular moth’s design. Did you know there are around 12,000 species of moths around the world?! Come see how the moth is inspiring Moss Rock Festival’s 13th year from kids workshops to a special exhibition of Deborah’s oversized paintings paired with actual moth specimens from Samford University. It’s going to be a #MothRock kind of year!
